After her studies at the Folkwangschule in Essen Erika worked as a dancer for several Theaters and Companies. With Choreographers like Itzik Gallili ,Paul Selwyn Norton, Truus Bronkhorst and Hans Tuerlings.
For the last six years she has been member of the Dutch dance Company RAZ and is now working as a free lance dancer and choreographer. Her classes are technically based on the Cunningham Technique, Laban’s movement analysis as well as the "Improvisation Technologies" developed by William Forsythe.
She gained her knowledge in these technique by working with dancer from the Ballett Frankfurt, Elisabeth Corbett and Thomas McManus.
During the warm up exercises movements get transformed through their dynamic and relationship to space, thus changing, influencing space in room and body and creating new relationships to eachother.
