Choreographs since 1999


Since 1990 Erika Winkler workes as a choreographer for free lance scene, both for small and larger productions.
Erika Winkler has also produced choreographic works for the Stadttheater Aachen, at a later date for the new foundet company TAC, for exampel a piece for three dancers and a 60 headed brass band from the Netherlands.
Parallel to the dancing career she developed two solo productions; one duett where the public gets involved and a longer piece for two dancers and an actor. In this half hour piece philosophical texts get connected with dance, and movement analysis with analysis of language.(see the kritiks)
The pieces where performed in cities of NRW with growing interest and successful.
In autumn 2005 the production is invited to ULM.
During the work of the piece arose a cooperation with the Architect Marc Mer in Münster who writes texts wich also touch the area of philosophie.
For the new production the influence of texts, philosophie and movement wil be shown in series of duetts with texts of Haruki Murakami and Robert Musil together with one dancer.
Erika Winkler and Dina ed Dik have allready performed some sections of this work at the Tanzhaus in Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Ulm.

Beginning of may 08 was Premiere from a Duett, choreographed for Students at the Highschool of Dance in Cologne.
During 2008 there cam out two Childrens pieces with her Choreographies at the „Forum-Freies-Theater“ at Düsseldorf.
At the same Place , in april 2009, there was premiere from the Theaterproduction „HIStory“.
A documentary Theaterpiece about gay men and their lifes in historical context. This work is developed as teamwork with Bernd Plöger, and Gila Becker.
At January 2010, she was dancer and choreographer at an Improvisationproject for the opening of „Ruhr 2010“ as European Capital of Culture at the „Zeche Zollverein“
